General Type Pipeline compensator

This type of expansion joints is constituted of one bellow and two end adaptor tubes. It absoitos the ppeline axial displacement (there are steo small amounts of lateral and angular displacement) through the flexible deformation of bellows, where the ends are connected to tubes or directly welded with pipeline adaptor tubes, or connected after being wedded to flanges. The small pull rods on the expansion joints are for use in the rigid supporting during the transportation proems or as the adjustment tor product pre—deformation, not as a load-bearing member. This type of expansion joints is simple in structure and low in cost, thus is pne- ferred lor consideratian in all passible positions on pipelines.
